Youth Program - Glendive

Thursday, June 07, 2012 - Thursday, August 02, 2012

Held weekly on Thursdays from the first week of June and culminating with a campout the first week of August, Makoshika's Youth Program provides educational and interpretive learning opportunities to local and visiting youth, with an emphasis on the nature, culture and history of eastern Montana. The program is geared towards kids aged 7-13, with both classroom and outdoors learning experience components. Parents are welcome to join. Participants attending at least half of the regularly scheduled weekly programs are eligible for a free campout at the Lions Camp A-frame located within the park. Registration is required and registration forms are available at the Makoshika Visitor Center, along with a list of materials the child needs to bring to certain programs.
