Campfire Program - Glendive

Thursday, June 07, 2012 - Thursday, August 02, 2012

Makoshika State Park's Campfire Program is conducted every other Thursday evening in the months of June and July. All ages are welcome to attend these programs, which are sponsored by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks and Friends of Makoshika. The two-hour program presents guest speakers and groups to local Montanans and their guests. Topic areas covered are endless, but focus on the natural, historical and cultural history of Montana.

Unless otherwise indicated, programs will be held from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at the Makoshika Hiatt Amphitheater. Check the information board at the park entrance to see if this week's program has been moved to a location different than what has been previously posted.

Please bring anything you may need to be comfortable, such as warm clothing, insect repellent, water, etc. A campfire program schedule is available at the Makoshika Visitor Center. For more information, contact Makoshika State Park at (406) 377-6256 or by email at makoshika@mt.gov.
