Prairie County Relay for Life - Terry

Sunday, July 22, 2012 - Monday, July 23, 2012

Relay For Life is a community gathering where everyone can participate in the fight against cancer. This over-night event takes place at a local high school, park or fairground, where teams of people take turns walking or running around a path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event- because cancer never sleeps, so neither will we. As part of the Relay, luminaries will be lit in honor of the hundreds of people affected by cancer. All luminary funds help fight this disease that claims so many lives. Luminaries may be purchased for $10.00 each.

Luminaries will be lit at 10:00 p.m. the night of the event and will light the way under the stars to remember those lost to cancer, those fighting cancer, and those who have fought cancer and won.

All cancer survivors are invited to join us as our honorary guests in the Survivor Lap, which opens the Relay For Life.

Come enjoy the activities, silent auctions, entertainment - all for a great cause!
