Southeast Montana - Billings

Southeast Montana is one of the six Montana tourism regions with a variety of attractions, events and experiences available for all age groups of travelers.

The area is rich in history and has contrasts of every kind -- contrasts in scenery, culture, entertainment and boating, water skiing, and photography opportunities. Hunting and fishing is available throughout the region. Summer events include rodeos, fairs, concerts, celebrations and ethnic affairs. There are art galleries, a rich variety of museums, horse shows and reenactments.

I-94 and I-90 provide good transportation through the Southeast Montana tourism region. South Dakota, North Dakota, and Wyoming border the region. Highway 212 provides a scenic route into the region from South Dakota's Black Hills to the Little Bighorn Battlefield.
