East Fork House - Sula

Located along the Lewis and Clark trail in the heart of prime wildlife viewing and fishing country, East Fork House is situated just a few feet from the banks of the East Fork of the Bitterroot River.

East Fork House is a five-bedroom, three-bath log home, with a front porch and back deck on the river. The house will comfortably accommodate eight to ten people with five twin beds, one double bed, one queen size bed and one king size bed.

The river receives very little fishing pressure in this area and teems with wild trout that readily take dry flies much of the year. Big game abounds in the surrounding forest and it is not unusual to see deer or bighorn sheep in the front yard in the evening or in the early morning hours. Sometimes even elk or moose wander by.

Area activities include: Fishing, horseback riding, downhill and cross-country skiing, hiking, river rafting, bird watching, snowmobiling, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, antiquing and historic sightseeing.

East Fork House is approximately 90 miles south of Missoula. From Highway 93, turn onto East Fork Road where the Bitterroot River crosses the highway just below the Sula Store. Go a little less than 10 miles up East Fork Road to 1969 East Fork Road (blue roof) on the right hand side (river side) of the road.

If you fly into Missoula: From the Missoula Airport, take Highway 93 East, turn right onto Reserve Street going south, and then turn right onto Highway 12 and 93 going south. At Lolo, Highway 12 turns west. Continue on Highway 93 to East Fork Road.
