David Morgenroth, Jazz Pianist Concert - Plains

Pianist David Morgenroth has both a classical and jazz background. He's a Missoula native, has had experience living and performing in many other places and has returned to Missoula. Those who had the privilege of hearing him perform in Plains two years ago or at the UM Buddy DeFranco Jazz Festival will be eager to hear him again. The live concert on the grand piano far surpasses what you would experience listening to a CD. Mr. Morgenroth is superb in bringing out all the little nuances of the music. His program this year is two-fold: toe- tapping bebop, and the melodic, lyrical compositions of jazz pianist/composer Bill Evans.
