We're a four season destination resort near Glacier National Park, Whitefish Mountain Resort, Whitefish Lake, and Flathead Lake (the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi). You'll be staying in the heart of Whitefish, Montana's playground and recreational capital. The Lodge proudly sits on the 18th fairway of the South Course of Whitefish Lake Golf Course, the state's first 36-hole golf course.

Winter in Whitefish is equally wonderful. Skiing and snowboarding on Whitefish Mountain Resort are incomparable. With 85 impeccably groomed runs on 3,000 acres and a 2,500-foot vertical drop, Whitefish Mountain Resort offers 25 per cent beginner, 50 per cent intermediate, and 25 per cent advanced skiing. With a 13,800-lift capacity per hour, thanks to two high-speed quads and five triple chairs, you'll hardly have time to catch your breath in the lift lines! Grouse Mountain Lodge provides free shuttle service to the mountain, just 8 miles away, at scheduled times throughout the day.

Cross-country skiers will also be delighted with the 15 kilometers of groomed trail just out our back door. The course is double tracked, groomed and lighted for night skiing. Whitefish Mountain Resort also offers an additional 16 kilometers for cross-country enthusiasts. Rental equipment is available.

The spacious guest rooms and two-level family lofts are roomy enough for families to spread out and be comfortable. The most recent renovation of our 145 guest rooms was completed in the summer of 2006 and included all new bedding, new wall decor, and western-themed lampshades.
