Long known for its food, St. Mary offers two eating establishments; Curly Bear Cafe and the famous Snowgoose Grille, which features regional items such as Montana buffalo, fresh fish, incredible prime rib, and huckleberry specialties.

Shopping at St. Mary is a treat. Trail and Creek Outfitters is the only outdoor specialty shop at the east side of Glacier National Park featuring an extensive selection of apparel, hiking gear, and fishing gear. Many exciting adventures in Glacier have begun with a visit to this inspiring shop. The Gift Shop is the largest in the region and caters to all budgets and tastes, while the Loose Moose T-Shirt Shop offers an incredible selection of Glacier shirts and souvenirs. Whatever your needs, you will find an unusual and innovative array to choose from at St. Mary Lodge and Resort.

A fully stocked grocery store, Sinclair station and laundromat round out the facilities at St. Mary. An ATM machine and information about the park and its surroundings are also available for your convenience.

St. Mary Lodge and Resort opened The Great Bear Lodge, which is a 48 room addition to the Resort. The rooms are luxury accommodations with decks on each unit facing Glacier National Park. Some rooms also feature fire places, expanded living space and Jacuzzi tubs. Wi-Fi available in the main lobby area.

St. Mary Lodge and Resort is located at the intersection of Highway 89 and the spectacular Going-To-The-Sun Road in Glacier National Park. The resort is easily accessible from all directions. From the North, St. Mary is located 16 miles south of the Canadian border on Highway 89. Coming from the West, take the famous Going-To-The-Sun Road (St. Mary is at the east end of the road), or follow Highway 2 around the south end of the park to the town of Browning. At Browning, follow signs to Highway 89. St. Mary is located approximately 35 miles from Browning on Highway 89. From the east, take Highway 2 to Browning, then continue north on Highway 89 to St. Mary.
