Yaak River Campground - Troy

Yaak River Campground is located on the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana at the confluence of the Yaak and Kootenai Rivers. This site is immediately adjacent to US Highway 2 and is located at the confluence of the Clark Fork and Yaak Rivers. A natural forest atmosphere encompasses the campground which is divided by the beautiful Yaak River. The campground is a popular spot for anglers. It has easy access as it is located off US Highway 2. There are 44 different campsites to choose from with drinking water and restrooms provided. Pets are welcome, but they must be kept on leashes. The maximum recommended trailer length for the area is 32 feet. Please limit your stay to 14 days. There is a fee for use of the campground.

From Troy, travel west on US Highway 2 for approximately 7 miles. The fee station and campground hosts will be found on the east side, before crossing the river.
