Sumdo Kha Resort - Kiowa

Sumdo Kha Resort is conveniently located on the east side of Glacier National Park, between the St. Mary's and Two Medicine entrances. It is a short 20-minute drive to Two Medicine and 30-minute drive to St. Mary's.

Kiowa itself is a wildlife paradise. Grizzly, black bear, beaver, lynx, moose, elk, fox and wolf and a variety of ducks and birds have all been viewed on the property. A scenic trail on the property winds through a variety of habitats with varied wildflowers and trees. The top of the trail provides a panoramic view of the mountains in Glacier with a lovely mountain pool.

A small, family owned and operated operation, Sumdo Kha Resort seeks to provide personal care to its guests. The motel features cozy rooms with private bath for $65.00. All linens are provided. This shady tree campground has water and electric hookup, along with tent camping. Newly installed campground grills make cooking over the campfire an enjoyable experience. Firewood is included with the reasonable campground fee. Corral space is available for travelers with horses.

Sumdo Kha Resort is located at the junction of US Highway 89 and Montana Highway 49 in Kiowa, Montana. It is 12 miles northwest of Browning, Montana and 20 miles south of Saint Mary, Montana, next to Glacier Park. Guests flying to visit us can choose the Great Falls or Kalispell airports.
