Swan Mountain Outfitters - Swan Lake

Swan Mountain Outfitters is a full service outfitting and guide service. Hunting consists of spring bear hunts and fall high country hunts for elk, mule deer, and bear, including archery. All hunts are off of horseback and are operated under Flathead National Forest Service permits in high country camp or base camp, depending on weather.

Fishing is offered as guided river float trips on Swan River or horseback accessed by fishing to high country lakes located in the Bob Marshall Wilderness. Walking day trips throughout the Swan Valley are also offered.

During the summer, three- and five-day pack trips to the high country are offered to guest seeking access to the Bob Marshall Wilderness, Swan Peak, mountain flowers, bird watching, fishing and hiking. Utilizing our high camp under Flathead National Forest Service permit, guests achieve a true backcountry horseback experience.

Out of our base camp, Swan Mountain Outfitters offers daily trail and wagon rides in many locations from as few as two hours to all day rides. Swan Mountain Outfitters is also the exclusive trail ride provider in Glacier National Park out of Apgar, Lake McDonald and Many Glacier Corrals.
