Take I-90 west of Missoula to Ninemile Exit 82. Turn North and go approximately 2 miles. Turn North onto Remount Road, just before the Ninemile House Restaurant. Go 2 miles to the Ninemile Remount Depot and bear West at the 4-way intersection. Go 4.5 miles to Butler Creek Road 456. Follow signs to trailhead. See Ninemile Ranger District Map.
