Bitterroot Family Campground - Hamilton

The Bitterroot Family Campground is located in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley next to the Bitterroot River. We provide a grocery store, laundry, playground, deli and game room. We also offer a trout pond stocked with rainbow trout. There is propane for sale by the gallon and ice, bait and fishing supplies. Twenty three tent sites and 26 RV sites with full and partial hookups are provided, some with 50 amp service, as well as a dump station. Three dry cabins and 2 dry sleeping rooms are also available. There is also boarding for horses. Access to the river is nearby. Pets are welcome.

Bitterroot Family Campground is located about 8 miles south of Hamilton at Mile Marker 39 turn left, and then go over railroad tracks (train only runs once a week, mid-morning.) We are nine miles north of Darby and midway between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks.
