Quarry Brewing - Butte

Quarry Brewing is an eight-barrel brewing operation at 45 West Galena Street in Uptown Butte. Offering a nice selection of beers customers will be able to wet their palettes on five different types of beers. Schnabel brews gold, amber, porter, pale ale and stout under the Reinheitsgebot, which is known as the German purity law of 1516. Under this provision beer is only brewed from the basic ingredients of water, barley and hops.

The bar and tables (with church pews for seating) are comfortable and if you don't already know whomever you're standing or sitting next to, you will in five minutes. Help yourself to some popcorn, chat with your friends and order another pint. Currently, the Galena Gold is a popular light crisp, summer easy-drinking beer and is available in 25 local establishments. Quarry regulars seem to prefer Shale Pale Ale. They are both very good!
