Gallatin River Lodge - Bozeman

The Gallatin River Lodge is the most convenient location to take advantage of all the region has to offer! The center of the finest, most diverse freshwater fly fishing in the world can be found near Bozeman, Montana.

The Lodge is in a unique location near the Gallatin River west of Bozeman. The property is in a quiet hay meadow that is removed yet easily accessed providing spectacular views of five mountain ranges. The landscape is beautiful and unspoiled. A large heron rookery is nearby, with eagles, osprey and sand hill cranes as neighbors. Whitetail deer, beaver, mink, muskrat, fox and pheasant inhabit this riparian treasure. The open valley allows for breathtaking sunsets. The lodge overlooks our private trout pond and is within easy walking distance of a nationally-recognized blue ribbon trout river.

The building has been designed for the most discriminating traveler by one of the region's finest architects and your host and outfitter, Steve Gamble. The building contains six spacious guest suites with private baths. Each suite has its own queen sized bed and day bed, comfortable furniture, fireplace, Jacuzzi tub, and separate shower. Large windows face a mountain range or river view. The private library opens onto a large deck with views of the Bridger Mountains. A great room overlooks the pond and provides southern sun, spectacular views and comfortable place to entertain.

Creative Montana cuisine is featured by our chefs and served by knowledgeable staff. Our full service bar offers an extensive wine list. Each evening our guests enjoy complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres. Outdoor dining available during the summer months.

Outfitting services provide world-class fly fishing on the Gallatin, Madison, and Yellowstone Rivers nearby, as well as private water and the famous Paradise Valley spring creeks. Horseback tours with Yellowstone Mountain Guides provide another dimension to the Lodge amenities. Winter activities include day trips to Yellowstone Park, Big Sky or Bridger Bowl for alpine skiing and Nordic skiing.

The Lodge also provides services for business meetings, weddings, seminars and educational workshops. We can even board your equine partner at our nearby horse barn.
